For the Standard Edition
EA Sports as decided that the standard edition of FIFA 22 for PS4 and Xbox One won't have free upgrade to PS5 and Xbox Series, that will only be possible with the Ultimate Edition.
If you buy the standard editon for PS4 or Xbox One and want to play on PS5 or Xbox Series you will have to buy the game again. Besides that, you have to take into account that the ultimate edition can only be purchased in digital format. If you buy FIFA 22 in a physical disc you will not have the oportunity to upgrade to the new generation consoles.
